PHS 110, Introduction to Physical Science, has undergone a major revision. The intent of the course is to model science teaching as elementary school teachers will be expected to teach it. We are especially interested in having pre-service K-8 students enroll in the course. PHS 110 will be student-centered, inquiry-oriented, activity based, and will make extensive use of hand-held and computer technologies. The course is being developed collaboratively by faculty in the College of Education and in the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
